 Me! Prajwal Adhikari from Nepal👦 As a beginner artist, I work hard to develop paintings that speak both to me and to others about the beauty that exists in the ruins of ancient societies. Part of my process before I begin painting is to read as much as I can about that topic from the Internet and consult with my seniors. I try with every finished work to breathe life into a long-forgotten culture so that its designs, innovations, and lifestyle are displayed on my canvas. The challenge, as with any recreated moment from the past, is to not caricature the moment and instead capture it in all its former glory. My artworks speak, not only for me but for people who were long ago silenced. 

 A man is a beautiful part of god's creation who starts compromising at a very tender age. He sacrifices his chocolates for his sister. He sacrifices his dreams for just a smile on his parent's faces. He spends his entire pocket money on buying gifts for   the lady he loves just to see her smiling. He sacrifices his full youth for his wife and children by working a late-night without any complaint. He struggles a lot and still has to bear scolding for his mother, wife and boss. He builds their future by taking loans from the bank and replying  them for a lifetime. His life finally ends up only by compromising for others' happiness. If he goes out, then he's careless If he stays home, then he's lazy If he scolds children. then he's a monster If he doesn't scold, then he's an irresponsible guy  If he stops wife from working, then he's an insecure guy  If he doesn't stop wife from working, then he's somebody  who lives on his wife's earnings...

"Depression isn't always crying your mascara off in the shower and playing sad songs in bed. Sometimes it's not wanting to talk to anyone for days and other time it's desperately needing to be around people. Sometime depression is having no appetite even though you haven't eaten anything since yesterday and sometimes it's eating everything you have in the fridge. Depression isn't your boyfriend holding you and telling you that it's going to be okay. It's sitting across the table, not eating, having him ask you what's wrong and knowing that you're ruining his night because you can't seem to snap out of it and just be happy.It's frustrating feeling of desperately wanting to enjoy something and just fucking be normal for once. It's keeping things a secret from the people you love because you don't want them to look at you like you're broken. No, depression isn't beautiful black and white images. Depression is lonely and ...
